Autograph, a Tom Brady-co-founded web3 brand, has teamed up with INDYCAR, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Team Penske to launch an exclusive non-fungible token (NFT) collection. INDYCAR announced this news yesterday, noting that this NFT collection seeks to mark the 106th Indianapolis 500 race, which is slated for May 29.
According to the announcement, the companies teamed up to create a unique three-part NFT collection. The first part of the collection features an exclusive redeemable 2022 Indianapolis 500 Race Day NFT. This NFT is free to everyone that purchased a seat at the motorsports event. All Indianapolis 500 ticket holders can redeem NFT and unlock additional content.
The second part comprises an NTT INDYCAR SERIES Mystery Driver Container, featuring 33 distinctive driver cards, one for each of the highly skilled athletes competing in this year’s race. INDYCAR and Autograph teamed up on the Mystery Driver Container. The firms plan to avail 1,089 mystery containers for sale on Monday, May 23, and unlock them on May 27.
Finally, Autograph partnered with Team Penske to create a one-of-a-kind NFT, which features a 3D recreation of Team Penske’s race-winning 1972 car. This NFT pays tribute to the 50th anniversary of the team’s first Indianapolis 500 win.

Per the announcement, ticket holders can start redeeming their 2022 Commemorative Race Day NFTs today by visiting Autograph.io. The 2022 Mystery Drop Container is available for viewing on Autograph’s website. Once its sale goes live, interested collectors can purchase it on the DraftKings Marketplace.
