Donald Trump’s World Liberty Financial has turned around the corner and become one of the most successful token sales recently. The project has sold 21.83 billion WLFI tokens, raising over $1 billion.
WLFI has now extended the sale with a target of selling 25 billion as demand from investors, including foreigners like Justin Sun, pumping millions of dollars into the project. World Liberty Financial has also invested millions of dollars in other crypto projects, with its portfolio having over $300 million in assets.
Top Crypto Coins in World Liberty Financial Portfolio
Ethereum (ETH)
World Liberty has invested heavily in Ethereum and currently holds 59,245 coins valued at over $197 million. It hopes that Ether will bounce back after being under pressure for the past few weeks. It has already crashed by almost 20% from its December highs as its network has continued to lose market share to the likes of Solana and Base.
Besides Ethereum, WLFI has also invested in Staked Ethereum (stETH) worth $15.7 million. This means it has started earning staking rewards by staking in Lido DAO.
Bitcoin (BTC)
The World Liberty Financial project has also invested in Bitcoin. It holds 457 wrapped Bitcoins, currently worth over $47 million. This trade has been highly profitable, as the price of Bitcoin rose to a record high of $109,200 on Monday.
WLFI joins other big names that have invested in Bitcoin, including MicroStrategy, Marathon Digital, Tesla, and Coinbase. Its investment raises the probability of the creation of a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve in the US.
AAVE (AAVE)
The WLFI project has invested in AAVE, the second-biggest player in the decentralized finance industry after Lido. It has acquired 19,400 AAVE tokens worth over $6 million. On top of this, the network has announced that it will integrate with AAVE, a network that allows users to borrow and lend capital on-chain.
Chainlink (LINK)
World Liberty invested in 256,315 LINK tokens worth $6.5 million. It has also been selected to be the Oracle provider for its DeFi protocol. An oracle is a platform that connects off-chain data to the on-chain.
WLFI hopes that the Chainlink price will continue to rise in the long term since it is one of the top blue-chip coins on the market. Chainlink has also formed a cup and handle pattern and a falling wedge, pointing to an eventual surge, as we predicted here.
Tron, Ethena, and Ondo
The other top coins that World Liberty Financial has invested in them are Tron and Ethena. It bought 5.5 million ENA tokens worth over $5.5 million. Also, it acquired almost 20 million Tron tokens valued at $4.6 million.
It invested in Tron likely because of Justin Sun’s investment in the network and its strong fundamentals. Tron has become the second-biggest Tether (USDT) chain, handling over $60 billion daily. The other parts of World Liberty Financial’s portfolio are Ondo Finance, Official Trump, Grok, and Hoppy.
