Phantom Wallet has officially integrated the Sui blockchain. This marks a significant milestone for both platforms, expanding crypto accessibility for millions of users. This integration represents a transformative moment for the Sui ecosystem.
It will allow Phantom’s 15 million monthly active users to interact with the Sui ecosystem seamlessly. Users can now send, receive, and manage SUI tokens while accessing various decentralized applications, including Suilend, Navi, Aftermath, and Bluefin.
Brandon Millman, CEO of Phantom, emphasized the strategic importance of this integration. He stated that Sui’s focus on scalability and superior user experience aligns perfectly with its goal of making crypto accessible for everyone.
Phantom has transformed into a multi-chain wallet, handpicking only the most capable blockchain networks for integration.
Sui’s Unprecedented Growth and Potential
Sui’s remarkable performance speaks volumes about its potential. By joining Phantom’s platform, it becomes the first Move-based blockchain and the third Layer 1 network fully supported by the wallet.
The blockchain has rapidly emerged as a top-tier in the space. It has climbed into the top 10 by Total Value Locked (TVL). On January 4, 2025, it reached $2 billion locked in its ecosystem.
Additionally, it has become the second-largest destination for Ethereum outflows via Wormhole, signalling growing trust in its infrastructure.
Christian Thompson, Managing Director of the Sui Foundation, highlighted the significance of this milestone in a statement. He said, “Sui’s time has arrived, and it is clear that the ecosystem is ready to onboard the next billion users into crypto.”
The integration offers users comprehensive features. This includes native SUI token management, access to Sui-based tokens like BLUE and SEND, seamless token swaps, and direct connections to leading Sui decentralized applications.
Phantom supports this integration across multiple platforms. This includes browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave, as well as mobile apps for iOS and Android.
With this launch, Phantom and Sui are not just expanding blockchain interoperability but are actively working to simplify and democratize cryptocurrency access for millions of users worldwide.
