Pixelverse completed its airdrop for early participants on July 18 after getting listed on exchanges such as Bybit, HTX, Gate.io, MEXC, CoinEX, and HTX. Now, they allow users to claim the Pixelverse airdrop and stake the PIXFI token in the Pixelverse Perpetual Staking to receive additional rewards.
Per a recent update from the game project’s team, all PixelTap and Dashboard participants can now claim their tokens without transaction fees and take advantage of the staking rewards within the entire Pixelverse ecosystem.
How to claim your Pixelverse airdrop rewards
The team gave detailed instructions on how to receive your $PIXFI airdrop without incurring transaction fees. The first step is to access the PixelTap page and tap the “CLAIM” button on the main screen.
Upon clicking the claim button, the subsequent page will guide you through receiving your $PIXFI airdrop.
However, it’s crucial to be careful when entering your address for the claim. This is where you’ll need to input your ERC-20, non-custodial wallet address, such as Metamask or Trust wallet. Providing an incorrect wallet address could lead to the loss of your PIXFI tokens.
According to their information, you will immediately receive your Pixelverse (PIXFI) token in your wallet after completing these steps. Additionally, from the Pixelverse dashboard, you can directly claim rewards and manage your assets.
On this page, you will find the “Early Adopter” section where you can input a valid ERC-20, non-custodial wallet address to claim your tokens and receive your $PIXFI tokens in your wallet.
Notably, tokens not claimed by those who received the airdrop will be automatically moved to the Community Incentive Pool on July 31 at 11:59 PM UTC.
Staking your PIXFI token on Pixelverse Perpetual
The project shared the news that the Pixelverse Perpetual Staking is now live. Claiming your airdropped tokens will automatically add them to the perpetual staking.
During this initial phase, participants can acquire lootboxes containing “valuable in-game assets.” They emphasized that,
Legendary loot boxes contain exclusive items only available through staking, including limited apartment and penthouse vouchers that will generate rental income in the future game.
Staking in the Pixelverse is perpetual, which means you only need to stake once to receive rewards from the entire Pixelverse ecosystem in upcoming staking phases.
In the future, rewards will be focused on compensating stakers from the Pixelchain and the wider Pixelverse Multiverse.
It is important to note that you will receive drop tickets (DT) for each staked token. This entails earning one DT for every 100 $PIXFI staked per 24 hours. A snapshot is taken after the Lootbox event, and a raffle follows.
Moreover, the Pixelverse staking is flexible and has no lock-in period. However, there is a brief 14-day cooldown period for staking, meaning that when you wish to withdraw, you must wait 14 days.
If necessary, anyone can immediately unstake, which bypasses the 14-day cooldown. The penalty for this is 16%. This amount is allocated to the Community Incentives pool and distributed among other Pixelverse token stakers, including July 18 players and the community.
PIXFI price performance
Pixelverse (PIXFI) was listed on centralized exchanges on July 18 and has gained 138.81% since then. It started trading at $0.01837 on Thursday and reached an all-time high of $0.0977 a day later.
Subsequently, Coinmarketcap data shows that the Pixelverse price has dropped by 38.78% in the past 24 hours, with the PIXFI token currently changing hands for $0.06149 apiece. We expect more downturns as more people cash out their airdrop rewards in the coming days.
