The price of the Mines of Dalarnia (DAR) token has surged by more than 40% ahead of the Dalarnia Legends Community Playtest, scheduled on July 18. Community members can compete and win up to 1,000 $DAR.
What is Mines of Dalarnia and the Legends Playtest?
Mines of Dalarnia is an interplanetary, blockchain-based mining game that’s set in the Chromia metaverse. The second Playtest is a major milestone in the development of the new card game in the Dalarnia Multiverse, which is called Dalarnia Legends. The community is flocking to see the latest version of the game, which will give them insight into how to play it and what makes it unique.
While this isn’t the game’s final version, the upcoming playtest will display a revamped gameboard UI and remarkable character art for all previously known Legends.
Most of the art in Dalarnia Legends has been generated by AI, and all players play with the same base cards. However, they can make spinoffs of this art. These visually distinct versions of base cards are useful in certain game modes, so the changes aren’t just cosmetic.
The prizes
The player with the highest total score is the winner. They will get 1,000 $DAR tokens, equivalent to $1,683 at current prices, and a unique Card Game table NFT for Dalarnia Nexus.
Active participants in the playtest who provide feedback to Mines of Dalarnia will receive bonuses. The five playersgiving the most valuable feedback will get 200 $DAR tokens each. The platform will announce the winners on Monday, July 22.
